Eva Taylor, a native of Maine and a former lawyer, founded “Chicks with Scripts” in 2010 with the goal of promoting and fostering support among female television writers. The organization currently boasts over 800 members. An alumna of NBC’s esteemed Writers on the Verge TV writing fellowship, she has worked for Corinne Brinkerhoff (“The Good Wife,” “Jane the Virgin”), Meredith Averill (“Haunting of Hill House,” “Locke & Key”), Alexa Junge (“Friends,” “United States of Tara”), Leila Gerstein (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Arika Mittman (“Dexter,” “Timeless”) and other inspiring showrunners. She is currently a script coordinator, and has worked on shows including “The Red Line” for CBS, “Paradise Lost” for Paramount, “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” for Disney +, and “The Republic of Sarah” for CW. When she’s not writing, Eva spends time with her dog Rilo and her synchronized swimming team, the Unsyncables. She is represented by Kevin Parker of Artists First.
